Make a duvet cover out of two flat sheets. Sew, or use iron-on hem tape on three sides with right sides together, turn right side out and use buttons or Velcro to close the top. |

Get a custom look drape. Buy ready-made drapes, curtains or valances and add your own trim with iron-on tape, hot glue or sewing. |

One of the easiest things to do, without spending a lot of money, is to look around your rooms and clean up the clutter. |
FURNITURE: |
Use one piece of furniture to add that special sparkle. Do you have a hand-painted chest, a special antique, or a family heirloom? Use it to create that fantastic focal point. Pull furniture away from your walls. Not only does it give the feeling of more space but it creates more intimate conversation areas. |
AREA RUG: |
Use a colorful area rug to anchor your furniture arrangement. Pick a color from the rug and pick accent pillows, new candles or a throw in that same color.
